1.Description
XYC low-temperature gear grease can maintain a lubricating film under extremely low-temperature conditions, reduce start-up torque, inhibit wear and corrosion, extend equipment life, and reduce downtime for maintenance.
2.Main Parameters and Indicators (Reference Range)
NLGI grade: 000 to 2 (000, 00, 0 or 1 are commonly used for low-temperature applications; for gears and bearings, softer or slightly thicker grades can be selected depending on speed and load)
Base oil viscosity (at 40°C): 50 - 500 cSt (Selection should be based on load and operating temperature)
Pour point / Pour point determination: Can operate at -60°C to -40°C (depending on the formula)
Low-temperature starting torque / Low-temperature fluidity: It can maintain an acceptable starting torque at -40°C to -50°C initially (laboratory low-temperature torque test index)
Dropping point: Usually >180°C (It characterizes high-temperature stability, but for low-temperature fats, its importance is secondary to low-temperature fluidity.)
Operating temperature range: approximately -60°C to +120°C (varies greatly depending on specific formula)
Rust protection (salt spray/steel sheet test): Excellent grade (with anti-rust additive)
Water wash resistance / moisture resistance: Good (suitable for cold storage cleaning or high humidity scenarios)
Extreme pressure/anti-wear properties (EP & AW): Solid lubricants (such as MoS₂, graphite) or extreme pressure additives can be added according to the gear load.
